Piro is best known for producing premium fingerboard wheels, but it has recently also started making graphic decks and bushings. The name 'Piro' is short for pirouette, which is a French term describing a rapid circular whirling movement. Piro wheels do just that; they spin smoothly and quickly. Each item is handmade with care in Toronto, Canada.
Piro works hard to perfect the experience for both novice and pro riders. The original designs and formulas resemble a realistic look and feel and compare with skateboarding as much as possible.

Each wheel features an Abec 9 bearing to ensure it spins smoothly and quickly. The wheels are made from 65D urethane for the perfect amount of grip and squeak.
Piro produces a range of different wheel shapes:
- Performance - An ideal all-around wheel. The duo conical shape is superb for transitions and flat ground technical tricks.
- Bowl Mini - A mid-sized wheel. The best of both worlds providing the technical advantages of a shorter wheel, but with a wide enough riding area.
- Dual Durometer - These cored Piro wheels are designed for a sturdy, balanced weight displacement while providing maximum speed and reducing friction and resistance.
- Pro Series - The pro-rider series is a special limited run of wheels carefully selected and crafted by the Piro team.
Piro has recently started producing graphic decks. Each deck uses five plies of carefully selected maple veneer, and is hand-sanded and shaped to perfection. The shape of the fingerboard features a short, wide tale for quick pop and an elongated, steeper squared-off nose for easier catches and improved nollies. All of the decks have medium kicks and concave.
Finally, Piro has also worked on perfecting bushings for your trucks. Piro premium bushings are created using an ultra-resistant, high rebound 55A urethane, and are sized to fit most professional trucks. The bushings come in 3 different options to accomodate a variety of skating styles and needs:
- Standard - Each standard set contains 2 top conical bushings, and 2 bottom standard cylinder bushings. Designed to match the classic skate bushing, the standards are versatile enough for both technical and freestyle skaters, offering proportional deck lean and stability.
- Lite - Each lite set contains 2 top conical bushings, and 2 bottom lite cylinder bushings. The most responsive of the line up, the lites offer the least resistance allowing for agility, and great control over quick turns and carves.
- Barrel - Each barrel set contains 2 top lite cylinder bushings, and 2 bottom standard cylinder bushings. The most cushioned feeling, the barrels provide excellent pop, stability and balance at any speed.
